Did you know?
It is illegal to dump or discharge anything other than storm water down the storm drains, or into storm water ponds or ditches. Pollution dumped into these systems eventually finds their way into our lakes and streams affecting aquatic life and recreational activities.

If you see anyone dumping pollutants or trash into the storm water systems, or see discolored water, suds or smell obnoxious fumes in the storm water ditches, ponds or pipes, - Please Call your local sheriffs department to report this illegal activity.
Did you know that the last Thursday of the month is for heavy trash pickup.

Watch For Updates on a regular basis

Welcome to the Willow Pointe Website

The Willow Pointe website was developed to assist with information sharing, communication of relevant and up to date news and a way to introduce our community to those considering purchasing a home in the area.  Our goal is to continue to improve both the content and the design of the website.  Your feedback and suggestions will help shape the future of the site.

Willow Pointe is a deed-restriction enforced community located in the suburban northwest part of Harris County.  Our community is made up of 588 homes, expansive common areas and a community pool and playground.  Our neighborhood is a nice mixture of retired people, active working men and women and young families.  We come from every corner of the globe and invite you to share in all of our cultures.  Willow Pointe provides the quality of lifestyle that we all deserve and enjoy.

If you are new to the neighborhood and need assistance or have questions please do not hesitate to contact the Board (wphoa.board@willowpointe.org) or contact our management company at 713-728-1126.

Suggestions for improving the website or adding content can be sent to the Board e-mail address listed above.

Be a Good Neighbor

Over the past several months there have been many complaints regarding loose dogs and cats in the neighborhood as well as excessive dog barking.

Nothing is more annoying than a barking dog!  Please make sure your dog(s) is not left outside unattended during the day and is brought inside at night if they are barkers.  Excessive barking is very disruptive to the neighborhood so please be considerate.

Please be aware that the Harris County Animal Control Ordinance requires that dogs and cats be physically restrained at all times, without access to the sidewalks and streets and most important, your neighbors yard and garden.  Violations need to be reported to HCPHES Rabies and Animal Control at 281-999-3191.  For more information about the Harris Country Leash Law and other regulations go to http://www.hcphes.org/vph/Laws/finalregulations.pdf

Community Updates

Harris Country Precinct 4 has made the following changes in our community.

·       Due to the congestion caused by over-flow parking coming from the Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home, NO PARKING signs have been installed along both sides of the entrance/exit at Trail Ridge and Jones Road.  There have been several occasions when cars were double parked along both sides of the road causing hazardous conditions.  Following an inspection conducted by Precinct 4 staff it was decided that signs were necessary for the following reasons.  A)  Impediment of traffic flow for homeowners B) blocking of the right of way for school buses and emergency vehicles and C) the need to enforce the existing traffic law 545.302 which prohibits parking within 30 feet of a signal light.

·       Due to poor visibility in the area of a school bus pick-up/drop off-site at Pony Express and Encino Cove, a stop sign was added on Pony Express.

If you have concerns about traffic safety or suggestions for improving traffic flow within the community, contact Harris County Precinct 4 Community Assistance Department at 281-353-8424 or visit their website www.hcp4.net.
